Hi Fiona,
Came to your nice review of Lake Como by way of Pola’s website Jetting Around.
This is a beautiful photo essay of this gorgeous area of Italy — and I agree about its allure. Lake Como has an unmistakable vibe. I was last there in ’03 and fell under the spell!
Thanks for sharing.

PS: Glad to meet you. I look forward to hearing more from you. I just followed you on Twitter as well.
Amazing pictures. I pretty much want to decorate my house with the same Lake Como theme. That market will have to be a stop when we visit in the future.
Awww! So true – you could spend hours alone just checking out all the vintage designer handbags!
Wow! I’ve never been to the lake district in northern Italy… someday… Very evocative post!
I am GREEN with envy. Oh, how I want to visit this place. And the market? I’m a sucker for a good market.
Yes – managed to restrain myself aomehow – had just come from Milan – a very dangerous city if you like your shopping!
Great pics…I love the one of the sailboat…
Yes! Especially proud of this one – shot with an iPhone:)
OMG, I did this exact same thing a good 5 years ago – it is so pretty! Thank you for bringing back the memories. I have a day around Milan in October.. and this is exactly what I am going to do instead. What a fab idea!! xx
we’re not going to lie, and we mean this in the best way possible: following you on instagram has been RULL difficult lately. i just want to hop a flight to italy and never come back!
someone also told me, George said, he loves Italy and Lake Como , because the conversation at lunch is what is for dinner. That sounds like my type of destination indeed.
stay adventurous, Craig
